Chris Evensen has been elected President of the Kentucky Workers’ Association (KWA) the largest organization of attorneys representing injured workers’ in Kentucky. Mr. Evensen previously served as both Secretary and Vice President of the Organization. KWA advocates for the rights of injured workers. Through education to members of the bar, filing amicus briefs to the Kentucky Supreme Court in support of issues effecting workers’ rights, working with the Commissioner of the Department of Workers Claims on Administrative Regulations governing the practice of workers’ compensation law, and working with lawmakers on legislation important to injured workers, KWA strives to improve injured workers’ rights and benefits under Kentucky workers’ compensation system.
